Each member of the team carries their own invisible wounds—scars from war, domestic abuse, and profound personal loss. In the aftermath of violence, they come to recognize the deep, unmet need for healing in the lives of those around them—people quietly suffering in Cleveland’s Near West Side from trauma, PTSD, and brokenness.
Out of this shared pain, something powerful begins to grow. The mission’s old brick manse is transformed into “The Meeting House,” a safe harbor and community space where hope is served alongside coffee, and healing comes through shared stories, friendship, and grace.
